EAGLE & SWINETHORPE PARISH COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and COUNCILLORS ARE SUMMONED to attend a meeting of Eagle and Swinethorpe Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 14TH January 2026 at 7pm at The Estate Office, Eagle Hall, LN6 9HZ.
There will be a 10-minute public forum where members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. A further 10 minutes will be set aside to receive reports from the County & District Councillors. Your attendance is required during this time.

2. To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interest and requests for dispensations.
3. Notes of the Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 26th November 2026 to be approved as minutes.
4. Health & Safety
5. Clerks Update & Correspondence, and to Resolve to agree any subsequent actions.
6. To consider the Grant request from 27th Lincoln (Thorpe-on-the-Hill) Scout Group (charity).
7. Finance.
a. To authorise the signing of orders for payment, note bank balances & any monies received. (List previously circulated)
b. To receive the Bank reconciliation as at 31.12.2025
c. to review the budget as at 31.12.2025.
d. to approve LALC membership fee of £294.52
8. To approve the budget & to Resolve to set the Precept for the financial year 2026/2027.
9. To consider re-joining LALC training scheme at a cost of £145.00pa.

11. Kitchen Block refurbishment update –
a. To resolve to consider & appoint the contractor for the refurbishment works.
b. Update on the application for the grant from Derbyshire Environment Trust.
12. To discuss the Christmas Tree installation for 2026.
13. To consider the following planning application – Diversion of Eagle Public Footpath NO.7 (Whisby Quarry).
